Terms of Service

OpenRoads is an onboarding platform for dump truck owner-operators: a bridge between drivers and the hauling and construction companies (“companies”) that need trucks. With your authorization we share your onboarding packet with companies so they can onboard you and offer you work, either as a leased-on driver or as a fill-in on a given day, and we help keep that paperwork current. OpenRoads is not an employer, a dispatcher, a staffing or placement agency, or a party to any hauling agreement. Drivers are independent owner-operators who choose their own work.

The service is best-effort. It does not guarantee any volume of work, any onboarding with any particular company, or addition to any approved-hauler list.

You authorize OpenRoads to share the information you submit with companies for work purposes. You are responsible for your own licensing, insurance, DOT and MC compliance, equipment, and any agreement you make directly with a company. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us.

OpenRoads is not responsible for the conduct, payment, or reliability of any company or driver, or for any agreement reached between them. Work, rate, and payment terms are between you and the other party.

Getting listed is free. There is no card required, no signup fee, and no per-load cut. If we introduce a paid service later, we will tell you what it costs before you are asked to pay for anything, and being listed will remain free.

Consent to calls and texts is optional and is never required to use OpenRoads. If you check the consent box, you agree that OpenRoads may call and text the number you gave us about hauling work, including messages sent with automated technology. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. If you do not check the box we do not store your number and we contact you by email instead.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPENROADSSOLUTIONS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DEALINGS WITH COMPANIES OR DRIVERS.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OpenRoadsSolutions LLC, its officers, directors, and agents from any claim arising out of your use of the service or your agreements with third parties.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms and will post a new "Last updated" date here. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

The app lets you store documents and photos, your license, insurance certificates, DOT paperwork, and other records, as your compliance packet. You own what you upload. You are responsible for what a document says and whether it is current; we only store it and track when it expires.

Your packet and profile stay on file while your account exists. Deleting your account deletes them, the same day. We keep the consent record described in section 6 with your name removed, for the legal reason stated there.

You can generate a link that shows a summary of your packet, without the underlying files, to whoever holds it. A link lasts 7 days and you can revoke it any time from the app. You are responsible for who you send a link to.

Getting listed remains free, per section 5. The app’s packet tools, document storage, renewal reminders, and packet sharing, are free for your first 30 days and no card is required. After the trial, continuing to use them costs $20 a month, billed monthly, until you cancel. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel it first. Cancel any time from your account page or the billing portal; you keep access through the period already paid for. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, refunds follow that store’s policy. If you subscribed on the web, refunds are at our discretion and prorated where we grant one.

A voided check or bank letter you upload for direct deposit setup is treated like any other document in your packet: yours, stored privately, and shared only when you choose to share it.
