Privacy Policy

Your name and company; the truck type and number of trucks you run; your home base ZIP and how far you will haul; the materials you carry; whether you want fill-in work, a lease-on, or both; your compliance details (USDOT and MC number, intrastate status, insurance status with carrier and limits, workers comp or Florida exemption, drug and alcohol consortium enrollment); and your email. We collect your mobile number only if you check the consent box. We also record the details tied to that consent: the wording you agreed to, its version, the timestamp, and your browser user agent.

To match you with hauling and construction companies that need a truck like yours, to help get you onto their approved-hauler lists, to tell you what is missing from your paperwork, and to contact you about work.

We share your profile with hauling and construction companies in your area so they can offer you work. Those companies may then contact you directly. We share it for work purposes only. We do not sell your information to anyone else and we do not share it for unrelated marketing.

Consent to calls and texts is separate, optional, and unchecked by default. It is never required to use OpenRoads. If you check it, you agree that OpenRoads may call and text the number you provided about hauling work, including messages sent with automated technology. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. If you leave the box unchecked, your mobile number is not stored and we reach you by email.

You can withdraw your authorization at any time, and we will stop sharing your profile with companies. You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us and we will handle it.

We keep your information while you are on the list and as long as we need it for our records and legal obligations. On a deletion request we remove or de-identify it, except where we have to keep a record of your consent or are required to keep it by law.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

OpenRoads is for working owner-operators and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy and will post a new "Last updated" date. If we materially change how we share your data, we will tell you.

The app lets you build a packet: your license, insurance certificates, DOT paperwork, and other compliance documents, as photos or files. We store them in a private location and encrypt them at rest. Only you can see a document until you share a packet link or hand a file to a company yourself.

Your profile, trucks, and every document in your packet stay on file as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes all of it, the same day. The one exception is the consent record described in section 4: we keep it with your name removed, because it is the record we would need if a text you received were ever disputed.

From the app you can create a link that shows a summary of your packet: your name, company, trucks, and the status of each document, without the files themselves. A link lasts 7 days and you can turn it off any time from the app. Anyone holding the link can view it, so only send it to someone you want to see it.

The app is free for your first 30 days, no card required. After that it is $20 a month, billed monthly, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page or the billing portal; you keep access through the period you already paid for. Refunds for a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play follow that store's refund policy. Refunds for a purchase made on the web are at our discretion and prorated where we grant one.

A voided check or bank letter you upload for direct deposit setup is stored the same way as any other document in your packet: privately, encrypted at rest, and shared only when you choose to share it.
